  4. YOU MUST HAVE CONDOR.SYS installed for CPAINT to work!

  7. DELETE the line in your CONFIG.SYS that looks like :
  8. device = ANSI.SYS
  9.  
  10. ADD a line in your CONFIG.SYS like:
  11. device = CONDOR.SYS
  12.

  14. I am releasing this version of Condor Paint to promote
  15. the use of the CONDOR.SYS the graphical ANSI.SYS replacement.

  17. This is the current full working version of CPAINT as of
  18. 5-28-93  Without the registered version of CONDOR.SYS
  19. only the 4 leftmost colors in the COLOR selection bar
  20. are available to draw with.    I have to reserve something
  21. to try to get users to register.  I spent 6 months writing
  22. CONDOR.SYS and $120 in books to get the information to write
  23. it.  It should be worth something.

  37. for free.  Updates of CPAINT will be provided to registered CONDOR users only.

  43. CONDOR.SYS graphics online.  This terminal requires BNU.SYS or X00.SYS.

  49. BIG is a graphics terminal and has great graphics online beyond even Condor 
  50. graphics, although BIG graphics are not seen on the SYSOP side.  Also BIG
  51. related files (not needed for CONDOR.SYS online displays):

  61. A local sysop tells me that he can see the CONDOR.SYS graphics on the
  62. sysop side using VBBS although VBBS doesn't support alternate menus, 
  63. beyond ASCII, ANSI, you can upload CONDOR graphics into the message base.
  64. Alternate graphics menus can be displayed using Remote Access bbs and OPUS with
  65. the LANGUAGE feature of the bbs software.  I haven't seen CONDOR.SYS graphics
  66. using OPUS and RA software but if they support ANSI.SYS the CONDOR.SYS
  67. will work in it's place.  I have used both OPUS and RA but it's been some time,
  68. I did get them to do the alternate menus for the BIG term graphics.
  69. Be sure to cut off the screen PAUSE every 25 lines on the BBS,  the graphics
  70. have to be displayed without that as it injects the pause prompt as
  71. Condor commands causing chaos.
